He served the bank for more than two decades, during which he handled the PR activities of the bank for considerable period and started writing articles for newspapers as a freelancer. He opted for voluntary retirement from SBI to pursue a career in media and moved on to become the ‘Corporate Editor’ of ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, the most widely read daily of India. He contributed greatly in the expansion of the newspaper to Rajasthan, Punjab and other Hindi speaking states.
